Race Regulations - M4SC2012

TAMIYA MINI 4WD
SINGAPORE CHAMPIONSHIP 2012

RACE RULES & REGULATIONS:
General :
1. Prepare a valid ID preferably with picture to register and get the M4 Race Pass. (1person1pass)
2. All cars participating in the Mini-4WD races should be using genuine Tamiya products.
3. All screw ends must be fitted with mini-4WD ball head set. ( no sharp end be exposed)
4. All cars must be 4-Wheel Drive. ( 2-Wheel Drive not allowed)
5. Only Sanyo ‘ AA’ Alkaline batteries can be used.
6. Racers must complete 3 laps with a good timing to proceed to Finals.
(Fastest Single Lap time will win a Prize)

M4 SUPER II CUP :
1. Open to all ages
2. Only TAMIYA M4WD Super II Chassis can join
3. Tamiya Original tires no modifications whatsoever.
4. The TOP 27* will proceed to the ‘ Round Robin ‘ KnockOut Final.
5. Registration Fee of SgD5.00 for a race ticket for 10 attempts.

M4 SUPER XX CUP:
1. Open to all ages
2. Only TAMIYA M4WD Super XX Chassis can join.
3. Tamiya Original tires no modifications whatsoever.
4. The TOP 27* will proceed to the ‘ Round Robin ‘ KnockOut Final.
5. Registration Fee of SGD5.00 for a race ticket for 10 attempts.

M4 OPEN:
1. Open to all ages
2. Any TAMIYA M4WD Chassis can join.
3. Tires Modifications allowed as long it is deem in tire shape.
4. The TOP 27* will proceed to the ‘ Round Robin ‘ KnockOut Final.
5. Registration Fee of SGD5.00 for a race ticket for 10 attempts.

M4 MS PRO:
1. Open to all ages
2. Only TAMIYA M4WD MS PRO Chassis can join.
3. Tamiya Original tires no modifications whatsoever
4. The TOP 27* will proceed to the ‘ Round Robin ‘ KnockOut Final.
5. Registration Fee of SGD5.00 for a race ticket for 10 attempts.

JUNIOR RULES: (This race is for the children most especially the beginners.)
1. Open to children 14years and below
2. Any TAMIYA M4WD Chassis can join.
3. Only Tamiya Original Tires are allowed (No modification: sanding/filing/etc)
4. One (1) Pair of stabilizing poles and mass dampers
5. Three (3) Pairs of Rollers only (plastic/Aluminum)
6. Only Rev,Torque,Atomic Tuned motors are allowed ( includes PRO motors)
7. The TOP 27* will proceed to the KnockOut Final.
8. REGISTRATION IS FREE.

‘Round Robin’ KnockOut Final Format : (Super II , XX , Open & MS PRO)
1. Race will be run in group format. (3 Groups)
- Each Group will have 9 racers* and each racer will have 4 runs* each.
- Points will be awarded to each racer every run.
- Top 3 racers with lowest points in each group will advance into the Semi-Finals.
- Semi-Finals will see racers competing in ‘ KnockOut ‘ Stage
- Top 3 Racers will advance into the Final.
* numbers of finalists and runs might change according to total number of participants.

RACE FORMAT : Time Attack Qualifying (Clock Fast Timing to qualify for Finals)
KnockOut Finals

ONLY SANYO ALKALINE ‘AA’ batteries can be used for this race

Mini 4WD Track – Open for Play

17th March Saturday :

1 M4 Super II Cup (Only Tamiya Super II Chassis can be used)
( Only 27 racers will qualify for the ‘Round-Robins’ KnockOut Finals)

2 M4 Super XX Cup (Only Tamiya Super XX Chassis can be used)
( Only 27 racers will qualify for the ‘Round-Robins’ KnockOut Finals)

3 M4 Junior (only 14yrs below)
(Only Tamiya M4WD Chassis/Atomic, Rev,-,Torque Tuned Motor/Parts can be used)
(Only 27 racers will qualify for KnockOut Finals)


18th March Sunday :

1 M4 MS PRO (Only Tamiya MS PRO Chassis can be used)
( Only 27 racers will qualify for the ‘Round-Robins’ KnockOut Finals)

2 M4 Open (Any Tamiya Chassis can be used)
( Only 27 racers will qualify for the ‘Round-Robins’ KnockOut Finals)

3 M4 Junior (only 14yrs below)
(Only Tamiya M4WD Chassis/Atomic Rev-Torque Tuned motor/Parts can be used)
(Only 27 racers will qualify for KnockOut Finals)

(SGD 5.00 per 10 attempts (except Junior Challenge – No Fee))

4:45pm ~ 5:45pm FINALS

ii) M4 Super II Category : 2:00pm ~ 5:30pm QUALIFYING
5:45pm ~ 6:20pm FINALS

iii) M4 Super XX Category : 2:00pm ~ 5:30pm QUALIFYING
6:25pm ~ 7:15pm FINALS

Prize Presentation : 7:30pm


18th March Sunday

i) M4 Junior Category : 12:00pm ~ 3:00pm QUALIFYING
3:15pm ~ 4:00pm FINALS

ii) M4 Open Category : 1:00pm ~ 4:30pm QUALIFYING
4:45pm ~ 5:30pm FINALS

iii) M4 MS PRO Category : 1:00pm ~ 4:30pm QUALIFYING
5:30pm ~ 6:30pm FINALS
