6. Players must register a timing to proceed to the next rounds
(Fastest Single Lap time will win a Prize)

1) M4 PRO

M4 PRO RULES: (This is for a specific M4 Chassis only which is the MS PRO chassis.)

Tamiya World Championship Finals 2011

In conjunction with the Tamiya Fair 2011, the Tamiya World Championship Finals 2011 was held at the same venue the Twin Messe of Shizuoka.

And we are proud to announce that our local hero, the GT Asia Cup Finals 2011 Champion, Mr. Nicholas Lee had fly our Singapore Flag high once again with Victory in the GT-A class. ( the fastest of the classes that was raced) He started off Day 1 of the timed practice setting the fasted lap of the day. But didn't had a good Day 2 of qualifying see him drop down the standing to 5th spot but on Day 3, the final qualifying session brings hope again with him setting the fastest single lap timing of the whole weekend of 15.445s the only driver that beat the mark of 15.5s.

With that he qualified 4th for the 20laps finals. 1st finals saw him taking over the 2nd spot with just 2 laps into the race and eventually taking over the lead in lap 15 saw him taking the Win for the 1st finals. The 2nd finals is not as great with the accident packed first 3corners which sent his car into the barriers damaged the car and he had to retire from the 2nd finals with just 2 laps into the race. 3rd finals is the deciding run. Filled with accidents and excitement saw Nicholas dropped to 8th place and chased up to the leader and overtaking the leader with just 2 laps to go marks a New Tamiya World Champion.

Congrats to the New Tamiya World Champion. And Well Done for flying the Singapore flag so high !!

Time Attack Challenge... for STGCC tic.

Hi All Mini4WD enthusiasts,

As mentioned during last weekend race , we will be having ' Time Attack ' trial on
06-Aug , 07-Aug ,13-Aug and 14-Aug in our showroom circuit , to win tickets to Singapore Toys, Games and Comic Convention , held in Suntec Convention Center Hall 402 on 20/21 August.

The trial will begins from 10.30am - 3.00pm on Saturdays and 10.30am -2.00pm on Sundays.

Tamiya Asia Cup Singapore Championship Grand Finale 2011

Yes , it is finally here !
Our local qualifying championship for Tamiya Asia Cup (TAC) is approaching the climax.

Grand Finale is scheduled on 14th August Sunday , the official venue will be at BottleTree Park , located near Khatib MRT.
Race timing will be from 10am - 6pm , but if you are interested , come on down to watch the Final approximately starting from 2pm.

Who will clinch the Champions for each of the 5 categories , SuperStock , FF03 ,4WDGT ,
M Sports and F1 Racing ?

Who are the drivers that will form Team Singapore , to compete in the Tamiya Asia Cup Final 2011 in September ?

I. RACE FORMAT:
1.) Time Attack Qualifying (Clock Fast Timing to qualify for Finals with the fastest driver to win prizes from Tamiya in all categories)
2.) KnockOut Finals (To decide the Champion, 1st and 2nd Runners-Up for all categories)


II. CATEGORIES:
1.) STGCC Challenge (any Tamiya M4WD Chassis/Motors can be used)
2.) M4 PRO (Only Tamiya M4WD PRO Chassis & Motors can be used)
3.) M4 Junior (Only selected Tamiya M4WD PRO Chassis/Motors/Parts can be used)
4.) M4 Large Diameter Wheel (any Tamiya M4WD Chassis/Motors can be used)
5.) M4 Small Diameter Wheel (any Tamiya M4WD Chassis/Motors can be used)


II. REGULATIONS:
1.) Prepare a valid ID with picture to register and get the M4 Race Pass.
2.) STGCC Challenge SgD4.00 per 10 attempts with free 1pair Tamiya PowerChamp FD.
3.) M4 PRO SgD4.00 per 10 attempts with free 1pair Tamiya PowerChamp FD.
4.) M4 Junior only for 14 years old and below with free registration.
5.) M4 Large Diameter Wheel can only use wheel-tire set measuring at least 26mm.
SgD4.00 per 10 attempts with free 1pair Tamiya PowerChamp FD.
6.) M4 Small Diameter Wheel can only use wheel-tire set measuring less than 26mm.
SgD4.00 per 10 attempts with free 1pair Tamiya PowerChamp FD.
7.) Only Tamiya PowerChamp FD batteries can be used during the official race.

M4 OPEN CATEGORY

- open to all Tamiya Mini 4WD Chassis
- Original Tamiya motors only

M4 LARGE DIAMETER WHEEL (L.D.W.) CATEGORY

- open to all Tamiya Mini 4WD Chassis
- Original Tamiya motors only
- Large Diameter Wheel w/tires not under 26mm

M4 PRO CATEGORY

- open to Tamiya MS PRO chassis only
- Original Tamiya MS PRO motors only

* Any Tamiya Mini 4WD Parts are allowed as long as it is used in the way it was designed, and on the Mini 4WD chassis it was designed for.

* Any other issues not clarified in the regulations will be deem illegal by the organiser.

Race Format for Mini 4WD Racing

Upcoming Mini 4WD race to be held at West Mall , we will adopt the 'Time Attack ' format as Qualifying and ' Knock Out ' format for the Finals.

Racers have to qualify for the finals , by clocking a good timing during the qualifying session.
We will cut off the qualifying session at a stipulated time and proceed to the Final.
Time schedule will be announced on race day.

This will apply to all categories - Junior Race , Tamiya Open Race , Tamiya Large Diameter (LD) Race (Open to all Tamiya Chassis) and Tamiya MS PRO Race , unless under any circumstances the organiser need to do changes.

Only MS PRO winners will qualify for the Grand Finale in October 2011.

Tamiya Mini 4WD Race to start 18th - 20th March 2011

All Mini4WD fans ,

The Tamiya Mini4WD race season going to start off during the March school holidays.
This coming March , we are glad to have West Mall as our official venue sponsor from 18th-20th March 2011.

Stargek is conducting a Mini4WD workshop for kids under 12 years of age , where you can build a Mini4WD car kit for free and test it on the race circuit on the spot.
This will happens on 18th and 19th March.
So bring your kids down and enjoy the fun of building Tamiya Mini4WD !

For the Mini4WD racegoers, races will be organised on the 19th and 20th March , starting from 1.00pm onwards .
The official Tamiya Mini 4WD Singapore Championship 2011 will kick off on 20th March , whereby Mini4WD racers will challenge for the rights to compete in Shizuoka Japan later this year.

Much anticipated Tamiya Asia Cup Singapore Championship 2011 , to kick off Round 1 on 13th March at RaceCraft Infinity @BottleTree Park , located at 81 Lorong Chencharu Singapore 769198.
